Comic Thumbnails: “Daughter of Death”

Description

Phase 1 of the final project. Sketch 6-8 pages of thumbnails for the final project with planned dialogue. Each set of thumbnails will be evaluated in groups during class for overall design and rough organization.

Peer Feedback

• Good sequence of panels
• Too many panels on some pages, makes page look overly condensed/crowded
• Need to plan spacing so that the dialogue doesn’t block the images but there is sufficient room for dialogue
• Good that there are only a couple of characters to focus on
• Story feels like it can easily be a part of a much longer series
• Black and white shading would most likely suit the comic’s overall theme and mood rather than fully coloured pages
